Music at Holy Trinity Hampton
Organ and Sung Service 10 am Sunday
Every Sunday at 10 am our service includes between 4 and 6 traditional and contemporary hymns, mainly taken from the hymn books Together In Song, Mission Praise, Covenant Songs and The Australian Hymn Book. Our wonderful Choir Leader and organist, Ian Keenan, creates a magnificent atmosphere with his talent on the pipe organ.
Choir
Our merry band of singers joins the 10 am service every Sunday except the last Sunday of the month, which tends to be a "Band Sunday" (more on that below). Ranging in ages from 9 to 90-ish, we welcome newcomers from all backgrounds of singing. Here is a video of our choir (including one of our young members) singing 'Silent Night' at Christmas Eve Midnight Mass.
Band
Our band performs usually on the last Sunday of each month, and our regulars include a pianist, a guitarist, a flautist and a singer or two. Sometimes we are lucky enough to have percussionists and trumpeters. If you are interested in joining, we would love to hear from you. Email our band leader Richard Pennington by clicking here.

Instrumentalists
Every couple of months we organise extra musicians to play during our service, such as trombone, trumpet, clarinet and harp which add depth and beauty to our worship.
